Image of the monument to the 4th Michigan Infantry. Monument includes a large bas-relief panel of an infantryman holding a flag in front of a cannon. Below the panel is written: 4th Michigan Inftry / 2nd Brig 1st Div 5th Corps. / Participated in 53 skirmishes and general engagements, / from Bull Run Va. July 21st 1861 to Appomattox Va. April 9th 1865. On the image, in the lower right corner, in white, is printed: 1064 -- 4th Michgan Inft. Monument. Monument honoring the 2nd Rhode Island Infantry, 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division, 6th Corps

Image of the monument to the 2nd Rhode Island Volunteers. Monument is topped by a bronze sculpture of a war drum against which are leaning an ammunition bag, a canteen, a wreath and a bayonet. On top of the drum is am infantryman's cap with the cross badge of the Union's Sixth Army Corps. On the front of the monument it reads: 2nd R.I. / Volunteers / Second Brigade/ Third Division / Sixth Corps. In the center of the monument is a carved bas-relief of the shield of the State of Rhode Island.
