Copies of bulletin on TM scholarship winners for 1991. Copies of bulletin on Federal Express pick-ups at Times Mirror Square - times, locations, etc. Copies of bulletin on alternative methods of transportation and copies of a booklet, "Leave your car at home - Employee Transportation Program." Copies of bulletin on "Fiesta Broadway," a major street fair which involved extensive street closures in downtown L.A., and which posed challenges for LAT employees working that weekend. Two items of correspondence in this folder regarding a presentation to Harrison Chandler who was concerned that The Times was not responsive to the competition of television news. A note to Otis Chandler from Freddie Miller and a memo from Otis Chandler to Norman Chandler, Franklin D. Murphy, Albert V. Casey, Robert F. Erburu, and Dennis Stanfill. Also in this folder are two copies of "The Times vs. Television: Is The Times Obsolete?" and also a spreadsheet and two graphs.

Los Angeles Times Addenda

The Los Angeles Times Addenda series numbers 14 boxes and contains annual and interim reports, press releases, executive rosters and guest books, and speeches by Times executives. It was added to the collection in 2008 and primarily reflects the activities of the Times and its executives circa 1980-2000. Annual reports from 1944-1989 were interfiled into existing Business Department Annual Report files. Duplicates in excess of 3 copies were deaccessioned. Includes media for select speeches (3.5" floppy discs and cassette tape recordings). Date range is 1961-2001.
