    Thin, black, 3-hole binder containing a number of responses to requests for description and explanation of circulation sales incentive plans used by other major newspapers around the United States. Responses were received from Dallas Morning News, Gannett Newspapers, New Orleans Times-Picayune, Des Moines Register. Information packet (stapled), 12-pp., "Pick up the world-Travel Adventures." Page 1 reads, in part, "Get ready for the time of your life... by participating in the L.A. Times Circulation Department's 1979 travel incentive program, you could soon be enjoying eight fabulous days in lively Mexico, unspoiled Maui or aboard a (cruise) to the Mexican Riviera. (This is) the finest travel package The Times has ever offered to its home delivery agents and dealers." [The remaining pages describe an ideal vacation for each of the three options.] Binding on 1959 publication removed.
