Across the road from the Desert Garden, the Lily Ponds contain four acres of extremely varied scenery. Here you’ll find two large and three small ponds, connected by a stream cascading down from the Jungle Garden.

Towards the west, rolling park-like lawns are studded with tall pines, cypresses, and similar trees; towards the east are groves of bamboo.
