Chinese Garden | Commercial Filming and Photography: Locations

The Chinese Garden (Liu Fang Yuan—the Garden of Flowing Fragrance) reflects traditional Suzhou-style scholar gardens and features a 1.5-acre lake, a complex of pavilions, a tea house and tea shop, and five stone bridges, set against a wooded backdrop of mature oaks and pines.

The garden opened to the public on Feb. 23, 2008, and filming is permitted, although there are restrictions. In the spring of 2014, Phase 2 added two more lakeside pavilions and a rockery with a waterfall to the initial 3.5 acres. Ultimately, the garden will cover 12 acres.
