Self-Guided Visits

Registration for Self-Guided Visits and Docent-Guided Tours from September 2026 to January 2027 is open.

Explore The Huntington’s gardens, galleries, and library at your own pace on one of our Self-Guided Visits for students and their chaperones. Available for groups of children ages 4-18 affiliated with a school or educational organization such as camps, nonprofit groups, and others.

• Grade levels: PreK-12
• Cost: $5 per student, educator, and/or chaperone. Title I schools may visit for free. Bus reimbursement of up to $600 per bus is available.
• Length: Start at your scheduled time, then visit at your own pace. Please depart before 4:45 p.m.
• When: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 11 a.m. Saturdays at 10 a.m. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.
• Group size: 20-110 students and chaperones. The minimum ratio is 10 students per chaperone and the max is one student per chaperone. We welcome 1:1 student aides. See Frequently Asked Questions below for more information.

Need to cancel?

Please notify us of cancellations at least 3 weeks before the tour date to accommodate other groups. Groups who cancel less than 1 week before the visit will not be refunded.

Our registration system is self-service. If a date is not clickable, tickets are unavailable. After booking, you will receive a confirmation email for your visit. Please do not book multiple dates for the same group visit.
