Reistle is resting his right hand on a low pedestal, and his left hand on his hip. He has a neatly trimmed mustache that extends slightly below his lips on either side of his mouth, and he is wearing a hat. "Photographed by R. Steinebach, 843 North 3d St. Philadelphia" is stamped in black on the verso.

Fisher is resting his right forearm on a cloth-draped side table and his left hand on his left thigh. He has a neatly trimmed mustache and a wide goatee that reaches the bottom of his collar. "Geo. Stotler's Old Portrait Gallery, Johnstown, Pa." is stamped in black on the verso.

Lyman is resting his right arm on a side table, and his left hand in his lap. He has bushy muttonchops, but is otherwise clean-shaven. "B.F. Evans, No. 14 Main Street, Norfolk, Va." is stamped in black on the verso. There is a green three cent stamp with a portrait of George Washington attached to the verso upside down.
