There is a stack of lumber between the buildings, and men with pickaxes are working on the land to the left of the building in the center. Two automobiles are parked in the street on the far right, and another four are parked beyond the apartment buildings.

A panoramic view of the Marlow-Burns subdivision in Windsor Hills in Los Angeles. The houses are closely spaced, except where there are empty lots. There is construction work going on on the far right of the image, pouring concrete and laying a foundation. There are several automobiles parked on the near side of the street on the right, but only one on the far side of the street, left of center.

A panoramic view of Beverly Gardens Park, in Beverly Hills, at the corner of Beverly and Santa Monica. The Beverly Gardens Park extends on either side of Beverly, which is in the center of the image. The park has wide, flat lawns with a few flower beds, paths, and young trees. On the right a large sign reading "Beverly Hills" stands behind a wide, shallow pool. Both the sign and the house on Beverly on the right are still there. Most of the land beyond the park is undeveloped. Writing in white in the lower left corner reads "Pierce ; 8020".

Beverly Gardens Park, with its wide lawns, young trees, and lily ponds, separates the residential area beyond it, filled with palm-lined streets and houses, from the commercial area on the right, with the Security First National Bank of Los Angeles, the Beverly Hills Community Store, and the Beverly Hills Realty Co. The road stretching from the bottom left corner, past the towering City Hall building on the right, is Santa Monica. There are light rail lines along the near side of Santa Monica. Writing in white in the lower right corner reads "Photo By - ; C.C. Pierce & Co. ; 1572 W. Pico Blvd. L.A. ; 5-20-1932."
