    Approx. 70 items: various versions, dated between 1979 and 1993, of a newsletter put out by the Editorial Library. It was headed with several different names over the years, including Information Notes, Editorial Library Information Notes, Editorial Library - New Library Materials, Flash - from Editorial Library, and New Resources - Los Angeles Times Editorial Library. The last two included bibliographic cites for newly acquired books and other materials.

    Four items consisting of three letters, a memo and a two page editorial from Sheriff Peter J. Pitchess. The editorial is attached to one of the letters and is a rebuttal to a Los Angeles Times editorial. The memo is attached to a draft letter written by Freddie Miller for Chandler's approval.

    Correspondence regarding a Los Angeles Times editorial entitled "Get out of Vietnam NOW." Many of the letters are from other newspapers across the United States that reprinted the editorial in their own papers. Some letters have attached a response letter from Otis Chandler.
