Three pieces of correspondence pertaining to a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Publisher's Reception for New Employees on February 14, 1978. The first item is a note attached to the second item, a memo. The memo is from Freddie Miller and she refers to the memo attached which she sent out over Chandler's name. The third item is a memo sent from Bob Groundwater to Freddie Miller which is a list seating list for the executives.

Three copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Los Angeles Ad Club on March 31, 1976. One of the copies has a note from Freddie Miller attached to it which briefs Chandler on the event. Other items in this folder include a letter from John W. Hill of Hill and Knowlton, Inc., in which he requests a copy of the speech; a memo from Frank Flood to Vance Stickell informing him of the meeting and what the Ad Club is requesting; a thank you memo from Vance Stickell to Otis Chandler, for agreeing to speak at the meeting; a letter from Miriam Austin, Secretary to Stuart C. Brandy, Vice President and General Manager of Shoreacres Broadcasting Company Limited, requesting a copy of the speech; a letter to Gladys Yonich of the Los Angeles Ad Club, from Freddie Miller in which Miller is sending Otis Chandler's biography and photograph; three letters of praise which have attached to them Otis Chandler's thank you response letters.

One of the copies includes a copy from Martin P. Levin which states that he is enclosing a proposed insert to the testimony. This proposed insert is part of the other two copies of the speech. Other items in this folder include six newspaper clippings and one magazine clipping; a memo from Margaret C. Brown, United States Senate, in which she sends the hearing transcript and request corrections; a response letter from Freddie Miller returning a copy with corrections made; a memo from George M. Kroloff, Administrative Assistant to the Chairman of the Committee of Foreign Relations, requesting copies of the testimony and provides the latest agenda; a thank you letter to Freddie Miller from George M. Kroloff; a two page letter from George McGovern, Chairman of the Subcommittee on International Relations, providing information about the hearings; two pages of background information about the hearings; a memo from Freddie Miller explaining why the hearings would be a good thing to do; a three page memo with a three page attachment, from George Kroloff regarding Chandler's testimony that was used as part of the Foreign Relations Authorization Act; a letter from Freddie Miller to George Kroloff, providing Chandler's correct title; three letters of praise, which each has attached Chandler's response thank you letter.
