    Manuscripts

Approx. 60 items: memos, letters, tear sheets, etc. related to persons and organizations starting with letter "H." Much of the material in this folder is related to the Herald-Examiner. Included is a 7-pp. profile of Mary Ann Dolan, Editor of the Herald-Examiner, from the 6/1982 issue of Washington Journalism Review. The article, written by Dallas writer Dennis Holder, is not totally friendly: "Dolan's philosophy...is to have her fingers in everything and her thumb on everybody."
