Description

150 + items. Material includes: "news" briefs and longer articles about benefits of beings an LAT delivery person - parties, summer camp, visiting Washington, DC (and meeting VP Nixon), scholarships, other financial incentives, etc. Several clips on newsboys (virtually all were male in the time frame) who did something notable, such as rescuing a 12-year old playmate from a cave-in, 1 item. Example of a card sent out by circulation carriers to subscribers on their route at Holiday season. Illustration on the front shows Santa Claus, with a big sack of LAT driving an off-road vehicle with oversized tires, etc.
