The Collectors’ Councils play a critical role in supporting The Huntington’s collections, ensuring they will be vibrant for generations to come, and assisting library and art curators in selecting works for acquisition that further enhance the holdings begun by Henry and Arabella Huntington.
You can support Huntington programs and help to build our collections by donating non-monetary gifts of tangible goods or services. While acquisition policies vary among divisions (Library, Art and Botanical), the decision to accept a gift-in-kind for the collections begins with the division’s staff. Email Amanda Greenberger or call 626-405-2263.
Stock that has increased in value is one of the most popular assets used for charitable giving, once it has been held for a minimum of a year. Making a gift of securities offers you the chance to help The Huntington while realizing many important benefits for yourself. Contact Lorena Patlán or call 626-405-2296.
