The series title is 0202--Junior Drawing Series (printed in the lower right-hand corner of the cover). The chromolithograph cover of the tracing book shows two young girls in front of a blackboard preparing to use colored chalk. The back cover shows a girl, two drawings and a toy. The book is comprised of 8 leaves of images for tracing, and 8 leaves of tracing paper, bound in front of each image. The images are of animals and include a pheasant, cats, a tiger, horses and a cow. Some of the images have been traced onto the paper provided. This book is comprised of 8 lithograph plates of images for both copying and tracing, with 8 leaves of tracing paper bound in front of each plate. The front cover is a chromolithograph scene of a little girl, holding a doll and a cat, crossing a wooden bridge and looking at a goat kid in her path. The title is above the picture. The back cover is a blue and white pattern design. The title page reads: Amusement for Little Children. Drawing and Tracing Book. The images for tracing are domestic and farm animals. On the inside of the front cover is some brief text about the benefits of tracing and drawing for children. "Ethel Grant- May 3" is written in ms, in pencil, at the top of the title page.

  One tracing book entitled The Favorite Drawing and Tracing Book, published by Graham & Matlack, New York, ca. 1900. "0201 Tracing Book Series" is printed in the lower right-hand corner of the front cover. This book is comprised of 8 unnumbered plates of black and white images for tracing. Bound in front of each plate is a sheet of tracing paper. The front and back covers are chromolithograph images; the front cover shows two puppies leaning over an easel; the back cover features an oval vignette of two children on a wooden sled. The illustrations for tracing are whimsical in nature; they feature animals dressed in clothing, often doing silly things like riding snails. The insides of the front and back covers are blank. All of the leaves of tracing paper have been used to some extent.

The cover title reads: Drawing and Tracing Book: Boats and Houses. This book is comprised of 8 lithograph plates of images for drawing and tracing. The front and back covers are chromolithographs; the front cover features a bespectacled little girl, seated at a table, painting in a coloring book. The back cover reads: "First lessons in drawing for children" and has a decorative, floral design below the words. The publisher's statement is in the lower left-hand corner of the front cover: "Copyright 1898, McLoughlin Bros. New York." The images inside the book are the same as those in Box 33, env. 03. These images have been traced in pencil and colored in with crayons. "Helen A. Bailey" is written in ms., in pencil, across the bottom of the front cover.

  One drawing book/manufacturer's advertisement entitled Pretty Picture Drawing Book, published by M. F. Tobin, Publishers, New York, ca. 1910. This is a promotional advertisement for Besse, Bryant & Co., Clothiers, Hatters, Furnishers of Worcester, Massachusetts. The book is comprised of 6 leaves of lithograph illustrations, which are various images of children playing outdoors and with toys. There are leaves of tracing paper bound in between each image; some of the images have been traced onto the tracing paper. The front cover is a chromolithograph image of a young boy in a blue suit, holding a pug dog in his lap. The insides of the front and back covers, as well as the back cover, are textual advertisements for Besse, Bryant & Co. "M.F. Tobin, Publisher, N.Y." is printed at the bottom of the front cover. "$5-" (price) is written in ms., in pencil, in the upper left-hand corner of the inside of the front cover.

Both are wearing hats, and the little boy is rowing like a gondolier. The back cover is a green and white mesh pattern. The images for tracing are of various types of boats and houses. "81" is printed in the lower left-hand corner of the front cover. None of the images have been traced or copied. "Bertie from Emily Jan. 11-1911" is written in ms., in pencil, in the upper left-hand corner of the title page.
