One drawing book of original drawings, untitled, created by M.H.B., 1852. The drawing book is 10 unnumbered leaves in length, and contains original pencil drawings, mostly of landscapes and buildings. The drawing book is bound within marblized paper covers, and is untitled. The first drawing is signed "M.H.B" and is dated 1852; some of the other drawings are also dated 1852. Colored tissue paper guard sheets have been laid in between the leaves. Title supplied by cataloger.

One drawing book of original and copied drawings entitled Drawing Book, creator unnamed, ca. 1888. The book is bound in light green paperboard; the front cover is illustrated with an engraved image of an open drawing books with drawing and writing instruments nearby. The title is above the drawing book. The back cover is blank. The drawing book is 20 unnumbered leaves in length, and contains 7 ink and watercolor maps and 3 leaves of pencil sketches of flowers. The maps are on the first 9 pages of the book, and the flower sketch are on the last 3 leaves of the book. The flower sketches are all dated [18]88. The maps are views of: the southeastern United States; the New England States; Palestine; the Mid-Atlantic States; the Caribbean; Australia, and an unlabeled map of Italy. Tissue paper guard sheets are bound in between each of the leaves.

One drawing book of original drawings entitled Drawing Book, drawn by Marie [?] Lloyd, ca. 1875. The book is 12 unnumbered leaves in length, and contains original pencil drawings. The covers are illustrated with engravings; the front cover is a still life image of artists' and scholars' materials, with a banner bearing the title. This image is within a decorative frame. The back cover is an image of an American bald eagle, with a banner reading "E Pluribus Unum" in its claws. This image is also within a decorative frame. The pencil drawings within the book are primarily of houses and buildings, the accompanying note from DK describes them as "clumsy." None of the images are signed, but "Marie [?] Lloyd" is written in ms., in pencil, on the front cover. Tissue paper guard sheets are bound in between each of the leaves.

The drawing book is 12 unnumbered leaves in length, and contains 14 pencil drawings, some of which are dated November 1879. The are images of flowers, floral designs, and some vases. An accompanying note from DK states the images are "after Walter Smith." Some of the leaves are blank. None of the images are signed, but "Ella Seaver" is written in ms. in the upper right-hand corner of the front cover. There are tissue guard sheets between each of the leaves.

Great Big Drawing and Tracing Book

One joint drawing and tracing book entitled Great Big Drawing and Tracing Book, published by McLoughlin Bros., Springfield, Massachusetts, ca. 1928. This book is comprised of 8 leaves of illustrations for tracing, copying and coloring, and 8 leaves of tracing paper. The front and back covers are chromolithograph illustrations; the front cover features a boy drawing and a girl at play, the back cover illustration is of a seated child drawing. Above her are the words: "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." "510" is printed in the lower left-hand corner of the front cover. The illustrations within this book are grouped by category, and each leaf is labeled: "Little Folks Friends (toys); Feathered Friends; Four Footed Friends; Fruits and [has been cut out]; The Farmer and the Goose (signed by Rhoda Chase); Towser and the Snow Man (also signed by Rhoda Chase); and Mothers Sewing Circle." Many of the images have been traced and colored in. "Alice Brown, Dec. 25, 1928" is written in ms., in pencil, at the top of the back cover.
