One drawing book: publisher and author unknown. Possibly from a Bartholomew series, ca. 1885?. This drawing book is comprised of 11 lithograph leaves of images intended for copying. The leaves are numbered 1-12; leaf 11 is lacking. Each leaf contains one or more images, with space below for tracing or copying. Some of the images include church arches, pots and kettles, vases and water glasses. The covers are lacking. Title supplied by cataloger.

One book of original drawings by Charles H. Barnett entitled Drawing Book, created not before 1878. The book of drawings is 12 unnumbered leaves in length, and contains 11 drawings on the first 11 leaves and a 12th drawing which is on a piece of paper laid in front of the last leaf. The drawing book was a blank book, with printed covers that were intended to be completed with original drawings. The back cover contains two images of seals, one of the "Republique Francaise" and one of the "Exposition Universelle Internationale de 1878, Paris." "Mark Twain's Scrap Book" and "Paris Exposition 1878" are printed above and below the two seals. The original drawings, primarily of buildings and houses, all are in pencil. Some are signed "C.H.B." A tissue guardsheet is bound in between each of the leaves.

One drawing book of original drawings entitled Drawing Book, created by Henry H. Holt in 1896. The drawing book is bound in a brown cardstock cover, and is manufactured by the H. Senior Co., New York. The front cover is illustrated, and the back cover is blank. The drawing book is 12 leaves in length, with pencil and crayon drawings on both sides of each of the leaves. Some of the drawings have been numbered. The drawings include images of animals, objects, people, and maps. Most of the images are numbered with a number that corresponds to the source from which it was copied (according to an accompanying note from DK), and the drawings have been numerically graded by the creator's teacher. Tissue paper guard sheets are bound in between the leaves. "Henry H. Holt, Woodbury, Vermont, Fall term 1896. Amy Denny, teacher" is written in ms., in ink, on the inside of the front cover. A ms. letter to Diana Korzenik, with its envelop and a photocopy is laid in.

One drawing book, untitled, by F.J. Monroe, ca. 1880? The drawing book is 12 unnumbered leaves in length. It contains 11 original drawings, three of which are in pencil and colored pencil; the remainder are in pencil only. Some of the images within the book are a deer, a tree, a windmill, castles, and a chicken. The first image, which is drawin in pencil and colored pencil, is titled "Wild Tiger-lily" and is signed, in ms., "F.J. Monroe." Tissue guard sheets are bound in between each of the leaves. The book is bound in light green paperboard; the front cover is illustrated with an engraved image of an open drawing books with drawing and writing instruments nearby. The title is above the drawing book. The back cover is blank. The drawing book is 20 unnumbered leaves in length, and contains 7 ink and watercolor maps and 3 leaves of pencil sketches of flowers. The maps are on the first 9 pages of the book, and the flower sketch are on the last 3 leaves of the book. The flower sketches are all dated [18]88. The maps are views of: the southeastern United States; the New England States; Palestine; the Mid-Atlantic States; the Caribbean; Australia, and an unlabeled map of Italy. Tissue paper guard sheets are bound in between each of the leaves.

The drawing book is 10 unnumbered leaves in length, and contains original pencil drawings, mostly of landscapes and buildings. The drawing book is bound within marblized paper covers, and is untitled. The first drawing is signed "M.H.B" and is dated 1852; some of the other drawings are also dated 1852. Colored tissue paper guard sheets have been laid in between the leaves. Title supplied by cataloger.
