A bust-length studio portrait of Union Regimental Quartermaster William L. Robinson (1839-1894) of the 22nd Colored Infantry Regiment, with his head turned slightly to the right. Robinson has a full mustache and goatee that reaches his collar, with the rest of his beard closely shaved, and he has very pale eyes. "F. Gutekunst ; No. 704 & 706 Arch St. ; Philadelphia" and an armorial crest are printed on verso. There is a green three cent stamp with a portrait of George Washington attached to the verso upside down.

A bust-length studio portrait of an unidentified man, possibly Levi Graybill (see HM 77704 for an image of Graybill in military uniform), turned slightly to the left. The man has a neatly trimmed mustache and short but bushy mutton chops. He is wearing a suit with a small bowtie. "F. Gutekunst ; No. 704 & 706 Arch St. ; Philadelphia" and an armorial crest are printed on verso. There is a green and white three cent stamp with a portrait of George Washington attached to the verso.

A full-length studio portrait of Union Captain Jacob F. Force (b. 1842) of the 22nd Colored Infantry Regiment, with his body turned slightly to the right. Force is quite young, clean-shaven, and resting his left forearm on a pedestal, next to an urn. "Jones & Bro., photographers, 604 Arch Street, Philad'a." is printed in black on the verso.

Terry has a small, thin mustache, has his right hand in his coat pocket, and his left hand resting at his waist. There is a blue two cent stamp with a portrait of George Washington attached to the verso.

Lyman is resting his right arm on a side table, and his left hand in his lap. He has bushy muttonchops, but is otherwise clean-shaven. "B.F. Evans, No. 14 Main Street, Norfolk, Va." is stamped in black on the verso. There is a green three cent stamp with a portrait of George Washington attached to the verso upside down.

Dodge is clean-shaven, holding his sword across his lap, resting on his right hand, and holding his gloves on his thigh in his left hand. "J E. McClees, artist, 910 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia" is stamped in black on the verso.
