Description: Image of a program for a firework show at Camp Seymour in Hartford, Connecticut to honor Colonel Thomas H. Seymour from the U.S. Regiment. The program describes various types of fireworks such as the "Mexican Sun," "Indian Palmetto," and "Persian Rose." The lower portion of the print also includes two columns, the one on the left lists names and positions of field and staff officers at the parade. This section includes a small decorative border with images of eagles and arrows. The column on the right includes names of companies present at the parade. Text on the print is printed in about ten different font styles.

The right side of the print lists more gunpowder related products sold by the retailer, from firecrackers, hot air balloons, to pistols and more. The right of the print also includes two images of pistols pointed at one another, a paper cap pistol titled 'The Boss,' and a blank cartridge pistol. Towards the bottom of the right is an image titled "The New Excelsior Illuminating Meteoric Balloon - Inflating and Firework Attachments." The image depicts a hot-air balloon shown flying up, surrounded by lit fireworks.

Image of a leaflet listing pricing information about different types of fireworks, firecrackers, and goods for sale by the Unexcelled Fireworks Company in New York. Print was folded, with four printed pages total, two on verso and two on recto. Right page of recto includes the title and a vignette similar to imagery on the Great Seal of the United States. Includes an image of an American eagle holding up a banner labeled “UnXld Fireworks” in its beak. Below the eagle is a shield with American stripes and stars, and the eagle holds an olive branch with one talon, and arrows with another. Left page of recto includes pricing information and five vignettes of lanterns, balloons, fireworks, and bomb shells. Verso pages include five vignettes of fireworks and rockets and lists the various names, descriptions, and pricing information about materials for sale, ranging from “Roman Candles” to “Torpedoes.”

An accordion foldout print on Japanese paper advertising Mason, Ehrman & Co.'s Golden Crown Tea. The print is enclosed within two chrysanthemum-patterned cloth covered boards and inscribed "To Zaidee by a traveling man from Mason, Ehrman and Co. in Portland, Oregon," with the name "Gussie" inscribed on another panel. The item includes twelve color woodblock prints done by an unknown printer; eleven of the prints depict the process of preparing and shipping tea in Japan with captions below each scene. The twelfth print includes text by the company advertising the product, along with an image of a crown trademark. Scenery includes Japanese landscape, architecture, ships, and people in traditional dress. From left-to-right captions read: picking tea; carrying tea from the garden to be fired; first process native firing; second process native firing; native sifting; hand picking; pan firing at Yokohama; basket firing at Yokohama; packing & sifting and Yokohama; tea firing premises Yokohama; shipping tea by Empress of India.
