The area was incorporated as the city of Pico Rivera, California in 1958.

Photographers are unidentified on most of the images, though there are imprints for Carleton E. Watkins (photPF 440), Elias A. Bonine (photPF 448), and E.S. Frost & Son (photPF 449), and T.G.
