    Microfilm of two diaries kept by Heber Bennion between 1888 and 1897. The first volume, identified as volume 4, is dated 1888-1889 and covers Bennion's mission to eastern states, including Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. The second volume begins following Bennion's return home to Provo in 1889, and traces his travels and daily activities in Utah through 1897.

    Microfilm of Heber Bennion's diary, volume 4, kept from January-July 1889 while he was traveling in the Eastern United States, particularly Washington D.C. In Washington Bennion visited the White house and shook hands with President Cleveland, and also visited the Supreme Court, Mount Vernon, the Treasury, and the Smithsonian. He also took trips to New York City (where he saw the Brooklyn Bridge, Madison Square Garden, and the New York Medical University), New York state (including Rochester, Niagara Falls, and Palmyra), Baltimore, New England, and Pennsylvania (including Pittsburgh and Philadelphia). He also writes of traveling back to Utah, including stops in Wheeling, Chicago, and the Grand Canyon.

    Microfilm of nine diaries kept by John Fairbanks from 1877-1902. The first diary opens in Payson in 1877, and recounts Fairbanks's mission to the southern states, including Alabama and Tennessee, in 1883; the second opens with a list of subscriptions for the Zion's Cooperative Mercantile and Manufacturing Institution in Payson (1869) and also includes an 1881-1882 diary kept at Payson and on the southern states mission; the third diary opens in 1881 when Payson was traveling to St. Louis and tracks his mission through 1882; the fourth diary is a continuation of the third diary; the fifth diary is another notebook and diary kept during his mission from 1882-1883; the sixth diary is also from 1882; the seventh diary is undated but also appears to be from the southern states mission; the eighth diary is dated 1890 and was apparently kept in Utah; and the ninth diary was kept while Fairbanks was traveling in Central and South America, including to Mexico, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Colombia, in 1901-1902. It closes with a brief biography by an unknown author tracing Fairbanks's artistic endeavors from 1914-1917. Also included on the reel is a typescript by an unknown author entitled "South America Trip," which recalls Fairbanks's travels there.

    Microfilm of the diary of Ethan Pettit, kept from 1855-1878. The volume opens when Pettit was serving on his Indian mission to the Elk Mountains in Colorado. The remainder of the volume from 1856-1881 focuses on Pettit's life in Utah, and primarily recounts farm, livestock, and agricultural work.

    Microfilm of the diary of Daniel H. McAllister, kept from 1876-1877 while he was traveling between Utah and Arizona. The volume opens with a brief autobiography, including McAllister's decision to travel to Arizona in 1876. He records in detail his journey from Salt Lake City to Pima County. Once in Arizona his entries focus on daily activities such as digging ditches, cutting timber, agricultural work, and attending meetings. Later entries also cover his 1877 visit to Utah, including stops in Salt Lake City and St. George.

    Microfilm of two volumes kept by William Fotheringham. The first - kept at Milford, Beaver County, Utah, in 1909 - includes the text of patriarchal blessings given by Fotheringham from 1907-1909, notes on the St. George Temple, and part of Fotheringham's autobiography, including accounts of his leaving Scotland, traveling through Utah, and settling Beaver County. The second volume describes Fotheringham's mission work in India from 1854-1855. It includes references to his time at Manickpatna, Cuttack, Kunderpara, Calcutta, and the Bay of Bengal. The diary concludes with Fotheringham's return voyage to San Francisco by way of Singapore and the China Sea, as well as his travels through San Jose, Union City, Soledad, and Santa Clara.
