Microfilm of a diary and account book of Joseph Warrington McAllister, kept at Glendale and Salt Lake City from 1882-1885. The volume opens with co-op accounts for individuals and institutions, including the Glendale Trustees and Night School, in Glendale from 1882-1883. It also includes miscellaneous accounts kept from 1884-1885.The second half of the volume consists of McAllister's 1882-1884 diary, which commences with his move from Kanab to Glendale to teach school. McAllister writes of his life in Glendale, his attendance of meetings at Orderville, his move to Salt Lake City in 1883, and working in the Salt Lake Temple through 1884. Portions of the diary appear to be in pencil and may be partially illegible.

Microfilm of the diaries of Joseph H. Richards, covering the years 1876, 1881, 1886, and 1892-1893. All of the Utah and Arizona diaries consist of brief entries recalling Richards's daily life. The 1876 volume records his life in Utah and his call to colonize Arizona; the 1881 volume records his life in the St. Joseph United Order; the 1886 diary recalls his travels from Arizona to Utah and California; and the 1892-1893 diary recounts in more detail his mission to England and Scotland, and also includes a brief autobiography.

Microfilm of the diary of William Nelson, kept in St. George from 1877-1900. The first several frames contain a family record for William's grandparents, James Nelson and Sarah Alcock, and a biography of his father Aaron Nelson (1823-1908) and his second wife Selina Palfreyman Nelson (1843-1930). The biography describes Aaron and William's journey to the United States, their work in Salt Lake City, and Aaron's involvement in the Black Hawk Indian War in Sanpete County. William Nelson's diary includes very brief daily entries made from February 1877 to October 1900. He writes of his work shoemaking and of traveling around Cedar Ridge and Parowan playing music, often with his father. Most of the entries focus on his daily activities such as digging ditches and attending choir practice at the St. George Temple, the weather, and news about various family members and acquaintances. The final page of the diary includes notes on William's children.
