    Kashnor notes, "Shows the Oregon boundary according to the treaty. Shows almost a continuous coastline from Cape Barrow to the mouth of the Fish River, locating Dease and Simpson's discoveries." Kashnor dates [1846], RLIN record dates as 1854, however state of information inland from San Francisco indicates earlier date as more probable. The 48th parallel border between Canada and the United States has been extended by coloring, not a printed correction. This map seems identical to 105:239M except for this hand correction.     A New Map of North America, agreeable to the latest Discoveries

    Kashnor notes, "Shows New Albion, all the territory northward of the Missouri and Oregon as part of British Territory." This map appears to be a later edition of 105:266 by Wilkinson. It now shows Vancouver Island as Quadra and Vancouver's Island. New mountains appear in the west and the map extends further south. Kashnor dates as c. 1796. MS note: 267 (on Backing).
