Description: Consists of two series of 20 leaves, one lettered a-v and the second .a.-.v.. Leaves printed on one side only. Printed in brown ink. Huntington Library copy is an early impression of Schreiber edition VI, as the newly recut plates p-q, .c.-.d., .l.-.m. and .t.-.v. do not show the damage to the woodblocks seen in other copies of edition VI. Imperfect: ten leaves lacking (leaves a-b, g-m and .n.-.o.). Many leaves faded. Huntington Library copy misbound when rebound for Pembroke; now in following order: leaves c-f, .p.-.t., v, .v., .a.-.m., n-t. Leaf v detached and kept in a separate folder. Blank leaves pasted together; most leaves faded. Binding: 19th century English gilt-tooled red morocco, in red morocco solander case.

Huntington Library copy is [6] leaves: leaf A from edition VIII ([Netherlands or Lower Rhine, about 1463-1468]) and leaves b, g, h, i and m from edition III. Leaves have suffered moisture damage and faded ink. Binding: quarter leather over beech boards.

Illuminated decorations on leaf [a]1r with blue and maroon flowers with gilt scrolling in Ferrara style, blue capital "S" in gilt panel with red and green fill. Coat of arms [obliterated] in gilt circle in bottom margin. On leaf [i]1r blue and maroon flowers on inner margin with red capital 'M' in gilt panel. Other initials and rubrication in red or blue. Incipits on leaves [a]1r and [i]14 written in red. Binding: mid-18th century Spanish[?] gilt-tooled blue morocco[?].
