Los Angeles Airport dedication, Los Angeles. June 7, 1930
- Description
- A slightly elevated panoramic view of Los Angeles International Airport on the day of its dedication, probably taken from the top of a hangar. There are dozens of airplanes parked in rows on the runway on the left, and rows of parked automobiles in a large lot on the right. There is a large white hangar in the center of the image, with a crowd of people on the left. Small groups of people are walking towards the crowds from the parking lot. There are vacant runways on the left. Writing in white in the bottom center reads "Photo by ; F.M. Huddleston" and "Los Angeles Airport Dedication ; June 7. 1930."
