Beverly Gardens Park, with its wide lawns, young trees, and lily ponds, separates the residential area beyond it, filled with palm-lined streets and houses, from the commercial area on the right, with the Security First National Bank of Los Angeles, the Beverly Hills Community Store, and the Beverly Hills Realty Co. The road stretching from the bottom left corner, past the towering City Hall building on the right, is Santa Monica. There are light rail lines along the near side of Santa Monica. Writing in white in the lower right corner reads "Photo By - ; C.C. Pierce & Co. ; 1572 W. Pico Blvd. L.A. ; 5-20-1932."

  A panoramic view of the warehouse of Buck & Stoddard oil well supply. The part of the building facing the street is made of brick, has awnings over the windows, and an American flag over the front entrance. The main part of the building has metal siding and opens onto a yard filled with large, flat panels of metal. There is a small crane and a water tower on the sides of the yard. Writing in white in lower right corner reads "No 466 ; The Aerograph Co. ; 5880 Moneta Ave. ; Los Angeles, Calif."
