Ferry terminal, San Francisco

Description: A view of Market Street and the Central Pacific Railroad ferry terminal in San Francisco. The terminal is a low, wide building with a small clock tower in the center. Tracks for the streetcars lead directly into bays on the nearer side of the building. There are several electric trolleys on the tracks, as well as two horse-drawn trams on the far side of the street. The street is lined with stores, shops, and rail and steamship company buildings.

Hibernia Savings and Loan Society building, San Francisco

A street view of the Hibernia Savings and Loan Society building in San Francisco. The large marble building has a dome over one corner, and a circular entryway with fluted columns and steps on the the street-side. The road is paved with cobblestones and has tracks for trolley cars, one of which is passing the building on the left. There is a horse-drawn cart on the right, and about a dozen pedestrians.
