A street view of the Hibernia Savings and Loan Society building in San Francisco. The large marble building has a dome over one corner, and a circular entryway with fluted columns and steps on the the street-side. The road is paved with cobblestones and has tracks for trolley cars, one of which is passing the building on the left. There is a horse-drawn cart on the right, and about a dozen pedestrians.

A street view of the Old United States Mint at the corner of 5th and Mission Streets in San Francisco. The large two story building is of Greek Revival design and is faced in granite and sandstone. The road is paved with cobblestones and has tracks for trolley cars.

The building is in an "oriental" style (vaguely Middle Eastern or Indian), and has a large central dome with a smaller dome at each of the building's four corners. There is a pair of horse-drawn carriages in front of the building.

A view of Market Street and the Central Pacific Railroad ferry terminal in San Francisco. The terminal is a low, wide building with a small clock tower in the center. Tracks for the streetcars lead directly into bays on the nearer side of the building. There are several electric trolleys on the tracks, as well as two horse-drawn trams on the far side of the street. The street is lined with stores, shops, and rail and steamship company buildings.

A view looking east down California Street in San Francisco, California. There are a few trolleys on the tracks farther down the hill, as well as horse-drawn carriages. The street is lined with telegraph/telephone or electricity lines, and several of the buildings farther down the hill have awnings and signs for businesses.
