    Approx. 55 items: letters (typed and handwritten) and post cards from readers disappointed by the discontinuance of the Perspective news feature in LAT. Many of the letters were from children and, judging from the handwriting many of these were as young as 10 or 11 years old. Typically the letters from young readers said that Perspective had helped them in their school work for history or current events.

The letter is about a story that New West Imagine ran about an employee of The Los Angeles Times that accidentally spilled a cup of coffee into a computer.
