Also in this folder is a memo from Abe Kotin to Dan Moore, to inform him of his impression of Otis Chandler's visit; three pieces of correspondence between Otis Chandler and different representatives of Denoyer-Geppert Company, to Abe Kotin, Editor of Student Outlook at the Los Angeles Times, regarding an upcoming meeting, material for the presentation and a response thank you letter from Otis Chandler in regards to their assistance offer.

    Seven pieces of correspondence. Five pieces, consisting of letters, a memo and a clipping, are in regards to the Los Angeles Edition of the New York Times. The sixth piece is a thank you letter from Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, President and Publisher of the New York Times, regarding the Los Angeles Times' support of the New York Times by joining the amicus brief in the Myron Farber case. The seventh piece is a letter from Gladwin Hil [Chief of the New York Times' Los Angeles Bureau] to Otis Chandler mostly regarding the rudeness of a Los Angeles Times employee, Del Taylor. Also in this folder is a clipping from the New York Times entitled "New York Times report to readers."

    Three copies of a speech Otis Chandler gave at the Institutional Investor Conference on March 20, 1974. One of the copies is a revised copy that was planned on being used for print, as stated by a note attached to it from Stender E. Sweeney, Times Mirror Company Director of Finance. Other items in this folder include a pamphlet with notes written on the cover; a page of follow up notes that list names and the companies the people are associated with; two thank you letters from Otis Chandler to Gustave L. Levy of Goldman, Sachs & Co., and to John H. Gutfreund of Salomon Brothers; a thank you letter from Heidi Fiske, Vice President and Barbara Munder, Conference Programming Manager, of Institutional Investor Systems, Inc.; two pieces of correspondence between Otis Chandler and J. Kendrick Noble, Jr., vice President of Auerbach, Pollak & Richardson, in which they discuss the turn out; two pieces of correspondence between Otis Chandler and Sidney J. Weinberg, Jr., Partner at Goldman Sachs & Co., in which they thank each other; two pieces of correspondence between Otis Chandler and William Morris of Salomon Brothers.
