Another significant group of material includes extracts from the Journals of both Houses of Parliament dealing primarily with the Popish Plot, Catholics, Titus Oates and the Exclusion Crisis. This material also includes addresses, confessions, Articles of Impeachment, speeches and requests to attend the King (Boxes 1-5). The collection also includes the original roan-backed Middle Hill boards, with the label MS. 12256, from the collection of Thomas Phillipps (Box 6).
