Water Color School Box

Visual Materials

One boxed set of watercolor paints entitled Water Color School Box, manufactured by Wadsworth, Howland & Co., Boston, Massachusetts, ca. 1895. The set is comprised of 10 small cakes of watercolor paint set within two rows of metal supports, one quill brush, one wooden stick, and a small stick of charcoal. The set is housed within a metal box; the lid is divided into four sections: the top two sections contain the manufacturer's name and address, the bottom two contain the title. The box is colored green and has gold lettering.
