Description: A collection of writs of execution, exhibits, bills of complaints, depositions, legal opinions, subpoenas, and other documents from the files the Middle Circuit, 5th Circuit, 4th Circuit, Virginia Circuit, Virginia District and Eastern Virginia District courts. Most cases concern libel, felony, and misdemeanor, and bankruptcy trials and proceedings, with a few admiralty and maritime suits. Included are papers relating to various lawsuits of the Second Bank of the United States
