    Manuscripts

    A collection of writs of execution, exhibits, bills of complaints, depositions, legal opinions, subpoenas, and other documents from the files the Middle Circuit, 5th Circuit, 4th Circuit, Virginia Circuit, Virginia District and Eastern Virginia District courts. Most cases concern libel, felony, and misdemeanor, and bankruptcy trials and proceedings, with a few admiralty and maritime suits. Included are papers relating to various lawsuits of the Second Bank of the United States

    Manuscripts

    Business correspondence and documents from the files of various Virginia regional banks. The largest group consists of correspondence and documents related to the Clarksville branch of the Exchange Bank of Virginia (1841-64). Also included are groups of miscellaneous correspondence of Savings Institution of Richmond (1828-1841), Pittsylvania Savings Bank (1861-1864), William M. Sutton & Co. (1863- 1869), First National Bank (1865-1875), Merchants' National Bank (1870-1872), Lancaster & Co. (1874), Davenport & Co. (1876-1879), and others.

    Brock collection: Richmond lodge of Kesher Shel Barzel records

    Manuscripts

    Ninety-three (93) printed questionnaires filled out by prospective members of the Hillel Lodge No. 70 of Richmond, Virginia, and signed by the questioner and the interviewee. The questioners include A.J. Jones, Leon Schorp, Alex Hart, Julius Tischler and E.A. Ezekiel. Soft paper covers; bound by McCoy & Calvin Printers, Meadville, Pennsylvania. Also included are nine newspaper clippings with news of the 1905 programs in Russia.
