    Consists of 30 photographs, including copy prints, postcards, and snapshots. photPF 2480 is a postcard of the Pasadena Playhouse in the 1940s with a playbill advertising "The Magic Rowan." photPF 2481 is a photograph of a newspaper advertisement for the 1890 Tournament of Roses. photPF 2482 is of Dr. Francis F. Rowland's prize winning coach for the 1890 Tournament of Roses. photPF 2483 is accompanied with handwritten correspondence providing context for the snapshot of a 2nd place winning float for the 1908 Tournament of Roses. photPF 2484 is a postcard with a view of South Pasadena from Monterey Hills with the Raymond Hotel in the distance. photPF 2485 is a postcard of South Pasadena's Cawston Ostrich Farm. photPF 2486 consists of eight photographs of unidentified individuals taken in the San Gabriel Mountains at Orchard camp in August 1913. photPF 2487 consists of three snapshots with an accompanying newspaper clipping of the famous wisteria vine at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry T. Corinto. photPF 1222 depicts the launching of the "Invincible" in 1918. phtoPF 1223, 1223a contains views of Pend d'Oreille Lake in Idaho and the Steamer Mary Moody. photPF 1224 is a snapshop of a group of attachés during the Russo-Japanese War of 1904 in Manchuria, Russia. photPF 1225 is a cabinet card of Orlando J. Hodge. photPF 1227-1229 are postcards depicting St. Cloud, Minnesota , a U.S. military hospital at Governor's Island, North Dakota, the Steamship Dampfer Pretoria, and Champion Mines and Murchie Mines in Nevada City.

    Miscellaenous photographs in Oregon and California

    Visual Materials

    Consists of eleven photographs, includuing copy prints, photoprints, and mounted photographs. Most have inscriptions on the verso. photPF 2431-2434 depicted construction and staff at Fort Dalles, Oregon. photPF 2435 is a portrait of Judge George Henry Williams, the United States Attorney General under President Ulysses S. Grant and third chief justice of the Oregon Supreme Court. photPF 2436 is a photogrpah of a minature portrait of Presley Neville O'Bannon of the United States Marine Corps, reknown for his participation in the First Barbary War and the Battle of Derna, Libya. photPF 2437 is a cabinet card of the Shorb family home which formerly sat the grounds of the Huntington estate in San Marino; notes on the verso indicate when the structure was built and remodeled. A second photograph labeled photPF 2437 is of Guajome Ranch (Coutt's Ranch) in San Diego County. photPF 2438 is a copy print of the Moneyan Institute of San Gabriel, designed by William Money who was widely regarded as Los Angeles' first cult leader. photPF 2439 is a portrait of Jules Simoneau, a close friend of Robert Louis Stevenson. photPF 2440 is a photograph of the first casting of the "Mildred and William Dean Howells" bronze relief which currently sits in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. (NPG.65.65). An inscription in Mildred's hand is written on the verso, and it is accompanied by a note from Mildred addressed to Mr. Schad.

    Consists of nine photographs. photPF 930-931 contain two snapshots of Julia Weber's farmhouse and the site of the original Weber Point Home which was destroyed in a fire in 1917. photPF 932 is a photograph of Bull Run River, Oregon. photPF 933-935 are cyanotypes of a river flat ferry and sod houses located in Dakota (though unclear if one of either state or Dakota Territory). photPF 936-937 are photographs taken at Fort Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland. photPF 936 features Captain W. A. Speaight, 1st Lt. W. Seward Jr., and 2nd Lt. S O. Ryder and is taken by W. Suess. photPF 978 is of Virginia City from Carleton Watkins' New Cabinet Series.
