- An oval bird's eye view of Boston, Massachusetts, as seen from a hot-air balloon tethered over the Boston Commons, on October 13, 1860. There are many notations in pencil around the perimeter of the photograph identifying various landmarks in Boston such as Faneuil Hall, Park Street Church, the Custom House, State Street, and the Brattle Church.
