A panoramic group photograph of the closing of the U.S. Fleet Mission at San Pedro, Los Angeles. Five men in Catholic clerical garb are seated in the center, in front of about 120 men in uniform, mostly sailors, a few marines. There are also a handful of civilians among the group. They are posed in front of the Mason Hotel and the Del Mar Hotel and Cafe. Writing in white at bottom of image reads "Closing of Fleet Mission. Given for U.S. Fleet San Pedro, Calif. 15-25 Feb 1925 by Father Raphael C.P. under the direction of Father Joseph T. Casey Lt. Com. (Ch. C.) U.S.N."
