Huntington is on the platform immediately to the left of the car, third from the bottom. MS notes on verso read "Mt. Lowe, group includes HEH - also, probably, E--- Randolph (light suit, black hat, in the car)", "Gift of Mrs. Rox Donaldson, her uncle was E--- Randolph", and "HEH at Mt. Lowe, 1910?"

    A studio photographic portrait of Henry E. Huntington, taken around the time of his first marriage to Mary Alice Prentice in 1873. He wears a dark suit and tie and has a thick mustache and mutton chop sideburns. Printed notes on verso read "P.R. Young McCrum Block, Oneonta, N.Y." MS notes on verso read "HEH, c. 1873" and "Metcalf, 1984." Another copy of this image, HEH 61/1/2 (4), gives the date as circa 1880. Later date used.

    One on Henry Huntington's granddaughters sitting on his knee outdoors. MS notes on verso read "Last of Aug 1916", "H.E. Huntington & Mary Brockway Metcalf", and "Metcalf coll. 1984." Identification of the child as Mary Metcalf, born 1909, daughter of Henry's daughter Elizabeth, is not certain. This may also possibly be another granddaughter, Mary Alice Huntington, born 1914, or, Leslie Alice Huntington, born 1916.
