Description: A studio photographic portrait of Henry E. Huntington, taken around the time of his first marriage to Mary Alice Prentice in 1873. He wears a dark suit and tie and has a thick mustache and mutton chop sideburns. Printed notes on verso read "P.R. Young McCrum Block, Oneonta, N.Y." MS notes on verso read "HEH, c. 1873" and "Metcalf, 1984." Another copy of this image, HEH 61/1/2 (4), gives the date as circa 1880. Later date used.

A group picture of Henry E. Huntington and associates at the Mount Lowe railway, which he had purchased in 1902. Group stands on and around the funicular car "Rubio." Huntington is on the platform immediately to the left of the car, third from the bottom. MS notes on verso read "Mt. Lowe, group includes HEH - also, probably, E--- Randolph (light suit, black hat, in the car)", "Gift of Mrs. Rox Donaldson, her uncle was E--- Randolph", and "HEH at Mt. Lowe, 1910?"
