Huntington Lake photograph album
- Description
- An album of 100 commercially-made photographs, 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches each, of Huntington Lake, in the High Sierras, Fresno County, California. The album does not have a title or any text, and is undated. It appears to have been made in or shortly after 1915, as it features the Huntington Lake Lodge, which opened in 1915. Views show the exterior, lobby and dining room. Other subjects in the album are: children riding on burros, vacationers fishing and carrying rifles for hunting, cabins, and views of the lake and mountain scenery. The new powerhouses, dams, and railroad tracks are highlighted in several images. Photographs by Huddleston Photo Company, Henne Building, Los Angeles.
