    An album of 100 commercially-made photographs, 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches each, of Huntington Lake, in the High Sierras, Fresno County, California. The album does not have a title or any text, and is undated. It appears to have been made in or shortly after 1915, as it features the Huntington Lake Lodge, which opened in 1915. Views show the exterior, lobby and dining room. Other subjects in the album are: children riding on burros, vacationers fishing and carrying rifles for hunting, cabins, and views of the lake and mountain scenery. The new powerhouses, dams, and railroad tracks are highlighted in several images. Photographs by Huddleston Photo Company, Henne Building, Los Angeles.

    Album containing 8 x 10 in. black-and-white photographs of the ranch and estate of the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California, including views of the Cactus, Japanese, Rose and other gardens; buildings including the Huntington residence; statuary; and other views. At the end of the album is a view of a San Marino subdivision as well as a Security Trust Map of Pasadena, San Marino, and environs. "The Huntington Foundation" is embossed on the album's front cover.

The album was produced by Larchmont Investment Company, 1103 Broadway, Arcade Building, Los Angeles, and promotes property for sale in the vacation colony of Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino Mountains, San Bernardino County, California. There are approximately 30 photographs, made up of 8 x 10-inch prints and half-tone photocollages, and a map of cabin sites. Images depict sites in the woods with views of the lake, trails, a log cabin, and buildings Arlington Lodge, the Dancing Pavilion, and the Village Tavern.

    Photograph albums of the Rix and Maurer Families

    The collection consists of six photograph albums of the Rix and Maurer families depicting life in Northern California and the San Francisco Bay area. Volume 1 (disbound) contains 48 cartes-de-visite portraits of classmates of Annie Rix in San Francisco, ca. 1874; Volume 2: disbound album of 26 cartes-de-visite portraits related to the Rix family, ca. 1860s-1880s; Volume 3: Yosemite snapshots, June 1905 (58 photographs; prints various sizes in album 19 x 27 cm); Volume 4: Snapshots, 1870s-1915 of family, friends, social gatherings, residences, and pets in San Francisco and Berkeley, including views of the buildings at the Panama Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (approx. 290 photographs; prints various sizes, album 18 x 28 cm); Volume 5: photograph album of Mildred Maurer, 1912-1916 with photographs of Lake Chabot in Piedmont Park, Diamond Canyon, and Yosemite (approximately 122 photographs; prints various sizes, album 19 x 27 cm); Volume 6: images taken in France in 1919 during World War I and in California in 1920 (approx. 300 photographs; prints various sizes, album 18.5 x 29 cm).

    Photograph album

    Visual Materials

    An album of photographs of monuments on Gettysburg Battlefield, Pennsylvania. The photographs date from approximately 1883 to 1890 and most have the imprint of photographers J. L. Rile & Co. or W. H. Tipton. The majority are detail views of the stone monuments, with a few showing surroundings. Six of the mounted photographs were removed from the album and are housed in a separate box (Box 2).
