The book has a hole (as in a palette) cut through the upper-left hand corner. The front cover shows a young lad painting a landscape at an easel. The back cover depicts two song birds on a thorny branch with berries, overlooking a farm. The book contains 69 pages of images, both in outline and complementary color image formats.
