One drawing book entitled École de Dessin, Petit Cours Élémentaire et Progressif, published by Henry & Yves, Paris, ca. 1875? "No. 555" is stamped in red ink on the bottom of the front cover. This French drawing book is comprised of four unnumbered lithograph plates. The front cover features a leafy, decorative frame in which there are vignettes of artists at work in each corner. The interior images are each signed "Henry"; they include two men on a stone wall picking fruit, and a sailor leaning against a cannon. The insides of the front and back covers, as well as the back cover, are blank. "2.50" (price) is written in ms. in the upper right-hand corner of the front cover.

One drawing book entitled The Black Lead Pencil Drawing Book, No. 3, Series 1, by H. Worsley, published by Dean & Son, London, ca. 1873. Below the title is printed "In six parts one shilling each." The number of this book is filled in (in pencil). This book is comprised of four lithograph plates, numbered 9-12. The front and back covers are printed on orange paper. The front cover is illustrated with the same image as plate no. 12, with the title above the image and the publisher's information below. The back cover is also illustrated, and is a publisher's advertisement which reads: "Will shortly be published, series the second of the Black Lead Pencil Drawing Book in six parts, one shilling each comprising progressive lessons in landscape and architectural drawing." Each of the four lithographs within this book are views of houses, with surrounding landscape. The images are signed "H. Worsley". Printed at the bottom of the first two leaves is "Published by Dean & Son, 11 Ludgate Hill." Printed at the bottom of the last two plates is: "Lithographed & Published by Dean & Son, 11 Ludgate Hill, London." "Mary E. Trumbull, Jan. 1, 1873" is written in ms., in ink, in the upper right-hand corner of the front cover.

One drawing book entitled Lithographie Joseph Scholz, Teichenschule. Modeles de Dessin. Teekenschool, lithography by Joseph Scholz, published in Mainz, Germany, ca. 1875?. This book is comprised of 12 unnumbered lithograph plates for copying. The title and publication information on the front cover are within a plain line frame. The insides of the front and back covers are blank, as is the back cover. Most of the images are of rural settings, and include pieces of farming equipment and structures. There is an original pencil drawing on the interior and exterior back covers, and some additions to the third image.

This promotional booklet is comprised of 8 pages of illustrations and 8 leaves of tracing paper, one over each page. The chromolithograph front cover shows a seated boy, writing at a table. The inside of the front cover advertises several different models of Singer sewing machines. "Copyright 1900 Singer Mfg. Co." is printed, in very light ink, at the bottom of the front cover.

One drawing book entitled Elementary Drawing Book; A Series of Easy Progressive Lessons For Young Beginners, New and Improved Edition, No. VIII, by George Childs, published by David Bogue, London, ca. 1875. This drawing book is comprised of four lithograph plates, numbered 25-28. The title and publisher's information on the front cover are framed by a floral, decorative border. "Price nine pence" is printed in the upper right hand corner, opposite the volume number. "B. Clarke, Printer" is printed in the lower left-hand corner of the front cover. At the bottom of the first plate is printed "Tilt & Bogue, Fleet Street, London. J.R. Jobbins, Zinco." Each of the four plates are untitled and contain two separate views per leaf, side by side. Some of the views include human figures. There are no textual instructions, and there is no space provided for copying. The back cover is a publisher's advertisement for "New and Superior Drawing Books".

This drawing book is comprised of 4 lithograph plates of houses in outline style, numbered 1-4. The imprint of each reads: "Printed and Published by G. Rowney & Co. 51 Rathbone Place, London." ; each plate is signed "H.A.H." The inside of the front cover is a manufacturer's advertisement for drawing pencils; the inside of the back cover is an advertisement for chalks, crayons, drawing paper and tints. Publisher's advertisements for drawing books are on the back cover. "Oxford: Printed by E.W. Morris, Jun." is printed on the bottom of the back cover.
