The set is comprised of 17 wide rectangles, 12 square blocks, 6 thin rectangles. The blocks are housed within a wooden box with a sliding lid. In addition, there is a cube of 1" per side with the number "2" penciled on a side. Some of the wood blocks appear to be replacements for lost blocks, others seem to have been used for a painting project. One block has blue paint or dye on one side, another black. One use for these blocks was as drawing models.
