The booklet is part of Father Tuck's Little Artists' Series. This booklet is 24 unnumbered pages in length, and is composed of color and matching outline images for coloring. The front cover is a chromolithograph of a girl painting a portrait of a cat. "Father Tuck's Little Artists Series" is printed in the lower right-hand corner of the front cover. The back cover is a chromolithograph of a boy, dressed in a sailor suit, carving a piece of wood. Printed at the bottom of the back cover are: "No. 3629" below the publisher's logo; "Designed at the Studios in England"; and "Published by Raphael Tuck & Sons, Co., Ltd., New York-London-Paris". The inside of the front cover contains "Instructions for Little Artists", which are continued on the inside back cover. Most of the images have been colored in. "12.50" (price) is written in ms., in pencil, in the upper right-hand corner of the first page.

This 24-page painting book is comprised of lithograph images for painting and tracing and chromolithograph plates as samples. "Father Tuck's Little Artists Series" is printed in the lower left-hand corner of the front cover. The front and back covers are chromolithographs; the image on the front cover is of a boy, seated on the floor, in front of a painting he has created. The image on the back cover is of a child's drum toy.     One book entitled Industrial Art Text Books: A Graded Course in Art in its Relation to Industry, by Bonnie E. Snow and Hugo B. Froehlich, published by Laidlaw Brothers, Chicago and New York, copyright 1924. This is a revised edition of Part Six from an eight part set. This book is 64 pages in length, and contains both color and black and white illustrations. The topics addressed in this volume include: color and design; drawing and design; lettering and design; art in dress; art in the home; and art in handwork. The front and back covers are printed with a vertically striped design. The inside of the front cover and the inside of the back cover are decorated with geometric patterns. Each chapter begins with introductory text and an explanation of each of the types of projects contained within it. The rest of each chapter suggests projects to create which emphasize the topic for that chapter. The final page of the book suggests tests that art teachers can assign in order to evaluate the progress of their students. "J.E. Cargill" and "3.00" (price) are written in ms. at the top of the front cover. "J. Evelyn Cargill" is written in ms. at the top of the title page.

This book is 64 unnumbered pages in length, and provides step-by-step instructions for drawing horses and similar animals, such as mules and donkeys. All of the images are in black and white, and most pages contain at least some instructional text. The front cover is printed in brown on green paper; it features several images below the title from within the book. The imagery on the back cover is a duplicate of the front cover. "$1.00" is printed in the lower right-hand corner of the front and back covers. The inside of the front cover is blank; the inside of the back cover is a publisher's advertisement for "Pitman Art Series by Victor Perard." Laid inside the front cover are two newspaper clippings, dated 1951 and 1947 respectively.
