Three manufacturer's advertisements from the O-P Craft Co., Sandusky, Ohio, ca. 1935. Each of the flyers is printed on one side of a sheet; one of the advertisements is in color. The colored flyer, entitled O-P Craft Articles for Hand Decoration, is divided into two halves; each half shows images of hand-painted items against a black background. The represented are listed in the center column: "bracelets, rings, plates, buttons, napkin holders, buckles, mats, trinket boxes, No. 1700 Box, book-end, candle holder, and No. 1700 hinged box." No prices are given. The second flyer, entitled Ideas-Helps: O-P Craft for Designing-Decorating, illustrates craft projects. Rings, wooden bowls and plates, boxes, and craft mats are arranged on the flyer in groups with suggestions for use. Prices are not listed. The third leaflet, entitled New: O-P Craft Glass Holders, features five images of painted glass holders along the right-hand side and an image of an unpainted wooden glass holder on the left-hand side with descriptive text between the two. Two advertisement flyers from the O-P Craft Co., Inc., of Sandusky, Ohio, circa 1935. Env. 1 contains a 4-page reprint from Everyday Art Magazine entitled "The Growing Popularity of Home and School Crafts" by Earle F. Opie. The magazine excerpt describes the "pleasures and possibilities" of art craft work and promotes the use of O-P Craft products. The flyer is illustrated with both completed and incomplete projects (e.g. examples of crayonexing, carving). Envelope 2 contains a 6-page (i.e. a single sheet folded into thirds) illustrated flyer/catalog of O-P Craft products and supplies entitled "O-P Craft Articles for Hand Decoration: Projects of Beauty for Home, Gift, or Profit." Some of the items offered for sale are O-P Craft color charts, Crayonex crayons, paint-by-number fabric designs, Prang tempera paints and craft mats. Title supplied by cataloger.

The smaller of the two is a postcard-size advertisement, printed on both sides of the sheet. This piece contains an abstract of the book, and a listing of the contents and an order form on the other side. The book is advertised for $2.25. The second publisher's advertisement is 2 typescript pages (single-sided), on "Appleton Book Chat" letterhead. These two sheets contain a quotation/reprint of a book review of the same book from a December 1929 issue of Teacher's Chronicle, as well as several endorsement quotations from various art teachers. One flyer entitled Class in Drawing and Painting From Nature; Composition and Design, by A.G. Randall, Commonwealth School of Art and Industry, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, 1906. The subtitle reads: "At Boothbay Harbor, Maine, from July 9th to August 11th, 1906." This brochure is 4 unnumbered pages in length, and describes the classes offered, as well as the housing costs, terms and location of the summer program. The school logo, centered on the first page, features an outline view of the eastern half of Massachusetts; Cape Cod is represented by a human arm holding artists' implements. "3-" is written in ms., in pencil, in the upper right-hand corner of the first page.
