Four newspaper clippings of quotations from George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. The first clipping (Env. 09) includes a reproduction of a photograph, aerial view, of the Lincoln and Washington Monuments, with quotations from George Washington and Abraham Lincoln printed below the image. The next two clippings (Env. 10 and Env. 11) were cut from the February 12, [date cut off] issue of the Washington Post. They are reproductions of poems about Abraham Lincoln; the first is titled "Poems for your scrapbook. Lincoln. By George Henry Boker." from 'In Praise of Lincoln', published by J.B. Lippincott Co."; the other is titled : "Lincoln (On visiting the Memorial at Washington) by Henry Gillen." The fourth clipping is a 9-line quotation from Abraham Lincoln's speech at Gettysburg." The source of this clipping is unidentified.

One exhibition catalog, entitled 30th Anniversary Rockport Art Association Exhibition Catalog, First Part, 1950, published by Rockport Art Association, Rockport, Massachusetts, 1950. The interior title reads: "The Rockport Art Association 30th Annual Exhibition." The catalog is 68 pages in length, and contains a listing of the items in the exhibition, as well as a sampling (reproductions) of some of the items exhibited. The images are black and white. The first few and last few pages of this catalog contain a variety of advertisements. The catalog is bound in a bright yellow paper cover with blue printing.

Two invitations issued by the Boston University Art Department, one is for an art exhibition to be held May 29th to June 2 [1933]; the other for a demonstration "in the process of etching" to be held January 23 [1934?]. Neither invitation is dated with the year; the mailing envelope that accompanies these two invitations is postmarked May 25, 1933. The envelope is addressed, in ms., to "Miss Mabel Spofford, The High School, Gloucester, Massachusetts." Both invitations are folded cards, with original engraved illustrations on the front. The dimensions provided are for the larger of the two invitations. Title supplied by cataloger.
