This sheet has four tables giving the capacities for storage of cargo, water, coal and the cubic feet of rooms; also drawn is a simplified profile of the Peru showing the cargo holds. "Union Iron Works, Shipyard, June 30, 1892, Drawer No., Job No."--purple stamp, lower right corner, date in ms., in ink. "Case No. 406s Sheet No. 5437s"--purple stamp, lower right corner, numbers in ms., in ink. The Peru operated for Pacific Mail between 1892 and 1919; built for PMSSCO by Union Iron Works in 1891-92; she was the second Pacific Mail vessel to carry this name. Focus of item: Peru (1892-1919).
