Description
Album is bound in black, textured leather. A fleur de lis graphic element is embossed in the center of cover. The title, "A Dream of Fair Women," is embossed in gold lettering in the lower right corner of cover. The number "79" is affixed to the top of spine with glue. Album contains images collected by Charmian London, including clippings of artwork and a few photographs of nude women.

Provenance
The nucleus of the collection was purchased by Henry Huntington from Charmian London in 1925. Additional groups of material were acquired by both gift and purchase from Mrs. London and later from literary executors Irving Shepard and I. Milo Shepard over many years. Further material has been acquired from other sources; the provenance of these items is noted on the individual folders.

Images in this album include clinical photographs of leprosy patients likely taken in Dr. William Goodhue's medical clinic, studio portraits, and panoramic views of Molokai landscapes.
