Album is bound in black textured material. A fleur de lis graphic element is embossed in the center of cover. The title, "The Snark" is embossed on the upper center of cover in gold lettering. The number "4" is affixed to spine with glue. Images are of the construction of Jack London's Snark sailboat, and preparations for launch.

Two embossed lines border the outer edges of cover. The number "15" is affixed to the top of spine with glue. Contains photographs of London's friends, including Bohemian Grove cohorts, and some of Charmian London's family.

The number "49" is affixed to top of spine with glue. Photos are of sights and friends that hosted the London's during their long stay in Hawaii in 1907, while the Snark was being repaired.
