Image of the monument to the 57th Pennsylvania Veteran Volunteers. The monument is obelisk in shape, however the top is draped in a carved American flag. Beneath the draped flag is the diamond symbol of the Union 3rd Army Carps and a bronze plaque depicting the coat of arms of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Written on the front: 57th Penn'a. / Veteran Vol's. / 1st Brig. 1st Div. / 3rd Corps. / The Regiment occupied / this position, exposed to a / heavy artillery fire on the / afternoon of July 2, for two / hours, when it advanced 170 / feet and engaged the enemy. On the side of the monument are the statistics for that day. There is a split rail fence behind the monument. At the bottom of the photograph is a number in white: 1084. The photograph has been affixed to a card with the photographer's signature and "Gettysburg, Pa." printed in gold lettering at the bottom.

Image of the monument to the 10th New York Cavalry. The monument is surmounted by a bronze horse head, below which is the seal of the State of New York. Carved into the front of the monument is: 10th New York / Cavalry / 3rd. Brig. / 2nd. DIv. / Cavalry Corps / July 2nd. 1863 3 to 8 P.M. At the base of the monument is the badge for U.S. Calvary Corps. Behind the monument are stacks of corn stalks. Written in white at the side, near the bottom of the image is: 991 Tipton.
